This backpack (S size) is made from a specially dyed nylon material called "Super Nylon," which has a unique texture. Super Nylon is a very elaborate material; the product is made in a "kibata" (white fabric) state without dyeing, and then dyed with a special dye containing indigo. Post-dyeing synthetic fibers like nylon is a time-consuming process, but the effort results in color irregularities and puckering that resemble denim, giving the bag a vintage feel.
I have used it with care, but it is a used item.
